  1. [Mother asks] We’ve finally figured out a healthy balance for our ADHD daughter, but now the big Pesach vacation is nearing I am scared it will ruin everything we’ve gained up till now. In addition to that how should I contain her ADHD powers (excitement) all day long? Thanks for your help.

  3. A woman asked me, “I’ve realized that I cannot control my ADHD spouse who isn’t really interested in treating his ADHD symptoms.   4. As a coach do you get involved with the schools, for example, I feel the teacher doesn’t connect with my ADHD son at all, and when he does the results are destructive and at best unproductive, which is also destructive on a different level?

A mother asked, “I have an ADHD daughter and whenever I mention to her in conversation that she is such a smart girl – she counteracts my compliment with “No I’m not, look at my grades, and look at all of my tutors.” I understand her, and this hurts me very deeply. How should I respond to her “proof” of not being very smart?

  7. My daughters teachers are always complaining that the 11 yr old can't sit still during chumash class. They say she's disruptive and bothering the class. I don't know what to do anymore. I've spoken to her doctor, teacher's and even the principal. I don't want to yell at my child. She gets most of her homework done without to much stress at home. I just can't stand the complaints from school. Can you advise us? Thank you!
  8. My 15 yr old son has add, he's been bored out of his mind in yeshiva. No yeshiva wants him. I have no patience to learn with him. My wife gives him whatever he wants. We are lost. Please advise.
